Cross Fell Challenge
The Cross Fell Challenge was an appeal instigated by the Rotary clubs of Appleby and Upper Eden to raise money for the Shelter Box Appeal. The idea is to send out a box of equipment that has enough supplies to support a family of ten for six months. The boxes are sent to areas of the world where disaster has struck such as an earthquake, volcano, flood, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami or conflict.

Sam Stephenson was the representative of the company chosen to go to the top of Cross Fell, Cumbria (2983 feet) to test out the boxes and see what our sponsorship had bought.

The company has been given a shelter box number to track where it has been deployed in the world. You can have a look as well at www.shelterbox.org number: 35840.
